TWP 200 Series Stain, 5 Gallon Pail
The 5 gallon pail of TWP 200 Series is the size for a cedar shake roof, a full house of shingle or rough-sawn siding, or a log home. It's the same one-coat, low-VOC (under 100 g/L) penetrating stain as the 1 gallon can, with one batch of color for the whole job and a lower cost per gallon.

TWP rates coverage at 100-250 sq ft per gallon depending on porosity. TWP 200 is a one-coat stain, so that's your finished coverage.
TWP 200 at a Glance
- Made for: cedar shakes and shingles, aged shake roofs, rough-sawn cedar, siding, log homes, fences, fascia, shutters and landscape timbers. Above-ground exterior wood only.
- Protects against: grain cracking, cupping, surface erosion and water absorption. The surface resists mold, mildew, algae and moss.
- Application: one saturating coat by brush, pad, roller or sprayer at 50-90°F, back brushed. Wipe off whatever hasn't soaked in after 30-60 minutes.
- Dry time: generally dry to the touch overnight. Keep it dry for 48 hours.
- Clean-up: mineral spirits.

Prep Before You Stain
Clean the wood with TWP Restore-A-Deck or Woodrich Cleaner & Brightener, rinse well and let it dry for at least 48 hours. New wood should weather 4-12 months first, and any other brand's finish has to be removed.
