Vermont Natural Coatings PolyWhey® interior finishes are low-odor, water-based polyurethanes made with whey protein, a renewable by-product of Vermont cheese making. They give hardwood floors, tables, cabinets and trim a crystal-clear, durable topcoat that resists yellowing and cleans up with soap and water.
PolyWhey® Floor Finish
A professional-grade water-based floor finish and USDA Certified Biobased Product. It covers 500–600 sq. ft. per gallon, recoats in 1–2 hours so up to three coats can be applied in a day, and is available in Satin and Matte. Low VOC (176 g/L) and low odor make it ideal for refinishing floors in an occupied home or for contractors who need a fast turnaround.
PolyWhey® Furniture Finish
An ultra-low VOC water-based furniture finish in Satin for dining tables, kitchen cabinets, built-ins, doors, trim, toys and woodworking projects. It dries crystal clear without ambering, recoats in about 2 hours and is sold in quarts and gallons.
