Sikkens Cetol DEK Premium Deck Finish, 5 Gallon Pail
The 5 gallon pail of Sikkens ProLuxe Cetol DEK (now PPG ProLuxe Premium Deck Wood Finish) is the size for large decks and contractor jobs. It's the same two-coat, transparent satin alkyd deck finish as the 1 gallon can, with a lower cost per gallon and one batch of color for the whole deck.
What a 5 Gallon Pail of Cetol DEK Covers
| Job | Coverage |
|---|---|
| One coat | About 1,750-2,250 sq ft (350-450 sq ft per gallon) |
| Two coats (recommended) | About 875-1,125 sq ft of deck |
Coverage is PPG's figure for smooth surfaces and hardwoods. Rough, weathered or very porous wood uses more, so measure your deck boards, stairs and railings before you order. Our coverage guide walks through the math.
Colors in the 5 Gallon Pail
The pail comes in 078 Natural, 077 Cedar and 005 Natural Oak. For 045 Mahogany, order the 1 gallon size. See all Sikkens colors in our ProLuxe color chart.
