Proluxe Sikkens SRD and rain
If rain occurs shortly after staining the deck will typically repel it. If the rain leaves rain marks we apply another light coat to the floor of the deck. Rain usually does not rinse off the stain, it usually will leave water marks. If rain is in the forecast, that would be a good time to do the railing or skirting. If you get water marks on the deck floor, all you need to do is apply a thinned down second coat and that will remove/cover the rain marks. Thin down 1 gallon of thinner to a quart of stain.
