Using a chlorine bleach not only harms the wood, but also well as the vegetation surrounding the deck. Secondly, it doesn’t actually clean or remove any stains. It just bleaches them out. DEFY Composite Deck Cleaner is SAFE. A powdered concentrate that is mixed with water. Not only safely cleans but also restores the natural beauty of exterior wood.
HOW TO APPLY DEFY COMPOSITE DECK CLEANER
When you use DEFY Composite Deck Cleaner, you can watch it work as it foams up and penetrates down into the pores of the wood to give your composite deck a thorough cleaning. To use, simply mix 3/4 cup cleaner to each gallon of water. A gallon of solution will treat 100-200 sq. ft. This product works best when mixed with lukewarm water. Product can be applied with a mop, deck brush, or pump-up garden sprayer. If using a garden sprayer, pour solution through a mesh cheese-cloth to filter out any undissolved granules to prevent sprayer nozzle from clogging. Once solution is applied to the deck, allow it to set for 15-20 minutes, then scrub with a stiff-bristle brush and rinse completely. A pressure washer can be used instead of a scrub brush if desired, but remember to use the lowest pressure tip possible to avoid damaging the surface.
RECOMMENDED USE & COVERAGE
